It is advisable that Porcelain surfaces are regularly cleaned with soapy water or mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Then surface should be rinsed with clean water and polished with a soft cloth for a nice and shiny look.

Cleaning detergents containing bleach , chlorine, hard chemicles, acids, alkalis or concentrated disinfectants could cause damage and should not be used on Porcelain surfaces. If any of these come into contact with the stone, they have to be cleaned/ rinsed off immediately, in order to avoid potential  damage and discolouration.

Standing and sitting as well as putting pressure / heavy weights on the worktop surface can cause damage and should be avoided at all times. Extra caution must be taken with the areas , where the joints and cut outs are positioned ( around the sink, hob, etc)
